As a member of the Oral Medicine Consultants group, Dr. Gisele Mainville diagnoses and treats patients suffering from diseases affecting the oral cavity. Originally from Saskatchewan, Dr. Mainville obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Montreal in 2009. She then completed a one-year residency program in dental medicine and stomatology at the University of Montreal Hospital Center- Notre Dame Hospital. In 2010, she left Quebec for Columbus, Ohio, to begin three years of specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology amongst The Ohio State University’s renowned team. Upon her return to Montreal in 2013, she completed both the Canadian and American Oral Pathology specialty examinations.
Dr. Mainville is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Dentistry, where she teaches Oral Pathology to future dentists.
In addition, she participates in the Faculty of Dentistry’s Oral Pathology biopsy service.
Dr. Mainville is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a registered Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
